OUR HISTORY
Founded By Mervin and Evelyn Vatland as
Electronics Associates in 1966, they moved to 1828
W. Wisconsin Ave, the present location of Muntz
Audio-Video and changed the store name to Sound
World. The business grew to one of the largest
stereo stores in the Northeast Wisconsin and in 1978
Sound World moved to their present location at 3015
W. Wisconsin Ave.
In 1992 they added the name "Audio - Video
Lifestyles which became the "Custom Home" division
of Sound World which installs and designs whole
house audio and video, home automation and lighting
control for remodeling or building a home.
Sound World is still family owned and operated by
David Vatland who continues to advance the store
into this digital age of audio and video. |
